Cannot unmute ringer on phone

Ringer volume display indicates level is turned up but mute symbol is on and l can't unmute or hear the ringer. Only discovered this issue in past 48 hrs and have been unable to resolve it. Help?

Hi Barry Molloy,

It sounds like your iPhone may be in Silent mode currently and we can understand wanting to get that resolved. We'll be glad to help out!

The Ring/Silent switch on the left side of your iPhone may be switched to Silent mode currently. Let's have you check out the steps in this article for help with adjusting that: How to put your iPhone on vibrate, ring, or silent mode

That should help to get those sounds and notifications enabled on your device again.
