iMovie for macOS High Sierra
I am using a 2011 iMAC with macOS High Sierra (10.13.6). Somehow, I couldn't find my iMovie application. How do I reinstall iMovie into my iMAC?

Hi,
Your iMovie app should be located in your Applications folder. If it is not there, then possibly you may have deleted it by accident at some point in time or maybe moved it to a different location. Try doing a spotlight search for it.
Assuming that you are talking about iMovie 10 and still are unable to find it on your Mac you can get the current version from the app store if you can first upgrade to Mojave 10.14.6. If you are unable to upgrade to Mojave 10.14.6 then follow this procedure:
To update/redownload iMovie 10, drag your iMovie 10 app from the Applications folder into the trash, but do not empty the trash. (You can skip that step if you had iMovie 10 on your computer before, but deleted it.) Sign in to the app store and open your purchases folder by clicking on your name at the bottom of the app store side bar. You will see your purchases displayed, including iMovie 10. Redownload/update iMovie from there. If not successful, drag your present iMovie app out of the trash (if you moved it there) and return it to the Applications folder.
