I have long used a computer but am new to Mac. I find it very confusing about doing most everything. I thought it was supposed to be very intuitive. Where would you suggest I go get my thinking straight on how to navigate this Mac.

I find the Mac difficult to use. I've long used a computer, just can't find this system to be friendly at all. Where can I go to best learn to navigate. Doesn't seem intuitive at all. Frustrating at best. Thanks

There are books written for "Switchers", but I do not remember any for recent versions of macOS. However, even a book for an older macOS version will be useful.

There are podcasts out there, so are more towards beginner users. I am partial to the MacObserver.com "Mac Geek Gab". Yes, sometimes they get deep into the geeky weeds, but they very often have something useful each episode. Some other podcast may be good for you as well.

As mentioned, you can actually ask explicit question in the forums, and someone will try to answer.

Try not to group a lot of question into a single post, as often times 1 question out of many gets all the attention, and they the thread takes a tangent.

If you only put a few related question in a post, the changes are they will get answered. If some do not, you can always just start a new post.

Remember, we do not know the real you, so you do not have to feel bad about asking for help. You never know, you might become so good, you start answering other user question with what you've learned.

While "Right Now" may not be the best time, Apple Stores often have classes you can sign-up for. Right now, with Corvid-19, it may not be something you want to do.

What, for example, are you finding confusing?

There really isn't a whole lot of difference when it comes to day to day and routine tasks. Some things are called by different names and arranged (arguably) more logically than they are in the Windows world.

macOS is based on UNIX, and doesn't suffer from many of the shortcomings of Windows when it comes to things like security and application management.

It can be a challenging transition, but in the end, many find it makes much more sense after doing so.
