Volume buttons (up)

For some reason today my volume up button has stopped working, I’ve not dropped it or damaged it in anyway, it’ll randomly show the ringer prompt when coming in and out of apps but the up isn’t working at all, I’ve added this through the accessibility menu but I’m puzzled as to what it could be....

Volume Buttons Working ONLY On Locked Screen!? The Physical Volume buttons work whilst in the lockscreen, But as soon as I go direct to the app, the physical Volume buttons Do Not Work. Its the same with the Podcast Apps, the volume buttons have no effect. Yet when I look via the lockscreen they work fine. even If I go to sound and haptics, for the ringer select "change with buttons" meaning: The volume of the ringer and alerts can be adjusted using the volume buttons. NOTHING HAPPENS when I press the volume buttons... it seems the only place I can use them is the lock screen... any ideas?? Thanks.

Volume buttons Any ideas on why my volume buttons randomly stop working. This has happened a couple of times and a quick restart seems to fix temporarily, is it worth taking to Apple store and getting them to have a look at it?

You should undo this. Volume may be adjusted in your Control Center.

Get that volume button settled. Visit an Apple Store or Authorized Apple Service Center. Let them assess the iPhone and advise you how to proceed.

Sounds like the switch has failed, click on the Contact Support link at the top right of this page to start the service process.
