Maybe your ProTools are not 64 bit. Ask the makers of your ProTools why they are not providing a 64 bit version.

Thank you and one tiny detail I failed to add was it is ProTools First that isn't supported by Catalina,,,,yet.
I was using it to prep for studio work but right now $27/month without studio work I'm gonna wait.
When did you upgrade and how many Mojave backups do you still have on disk?
The cleanest way is from your backup but need to export any work done since you upgraded .
