family member claiming an app listed on purchased list was not done by them? is there any other way like 14 apps could be listed there that were not done by this person

To appear on the purchased list, the purchase was approved by the person with the Apple ID using their password, Touch ID or Face ID.

If an account could be hacked, why would it to be populate it with 14 purchases that seem to be embarrassing for the purchaser? To drive you here asking the question.

An account can certainly be hacked. If this purchaser was tricked in to providing their Apple ID and password, someone could use the compromised account to make purchases. Those purchases would only available to the hacker for as long as they had access to the hacked account.

Possibly hours if not minutes.

Does this person have 2FA on the account? That makes compromising it much less plausible. Do they have the App store set to use Touch ID or Face ID for purchases?
