Hello, Dimes 14 I am Raj a member of the Apple Community and would love to help you fix your issue. I read through your post and wanted to tell you that a probable cause to your issue could be a loose display cable. Additionally I have a few questions to ask you as well. Have you recently got your MacBook repaired? Additionally have you done any “intensive” work on it recently such as edit a video or play a very CPU demanding game or task? I would love to hear back from you and I hope I can help you further when you respond.

no i didnt repair , it s practically brand new (i got it like 6 months ago) and as far as intensive work , maybe , i didnt edit any videos or played any games but i m a developer and tend to use xcode and simulator as well as other memory greedy apps frequently but not yesterday , actually i ve only watched a movie on it and come to think of it i remember that the mac got a little hot during it

Hello again Dimes14 thank you for replying, reading what you said the heat while watching that movie may have caused some sort of issue that unfortunately resulted in the display failing. If you can I would take it into Apple for repair and let them take a look to see what really happened to it. Generally with Macbooks that are 2016 and later they have really thin chassis which could lead to cooling issues on some models or inadequate cooling. Normally these types of display issues could also result in a loose display cable so that alone would be a simple fix that a local Apple Store can fix for you if that is the issue. However if it is something else it may not be as easy but as long as you have either AppleCare+ or you can pay the deductible to get it fixed you should be fine. Reply to this thread if you have any questions or comments for me!
