iCloud account signed out of - photos missing, but still online?
Hi all,
I've signed out of my iCloud account, with multiple warnings telling me that local data such as photos will be removed from my phone. The reason why I signed out/back in again was because my phone refused to make a backup despite having plenty of iCloud storage, so I thought this would fix the issue.
However, upon signing back in while many photos are missing from my camera roll, they are all still on iCloud photos on PC/Mac. Do I just need to wait for these to go back to my phone, or is there something I need to do manually? My phone also still displays messages saying that my iPhone does not have enough iCloud storage, even though I know this to be false. Would a software update fix this?
It's also worth noting that between my local camera roll and my online iCloud storage, before I started freeing up iCloud storage space there was a 50-100 difference in the number of photos (the iCloud having the fewer) between the two before I signed out/back in. Would the previous lack of iCloud storage explain this? I freed up more iCloud storage, so I assume these 50/100 photos would then have been automatically uploaded to the cloud?
