Folder Actions in iCloud Drive

Folder Actions appear as an option, however when selected, Finder says it is a restricted service. Can I build folder actions for iCloud Drive folders that sync across iCloud?

Hello, I have all iCloud services turned on on my MacBook (iCloud Photo Library, Messages in iCloud, and Sync Desktop & Documents on iCloud Drive). When I go to Settings > General > Storage on my MacBook, it says "Store in iCloud" under the Recommendations area. Why is this the case when everything is already turned on? How to selectively prevent some folders from being uploaded to iCloud Drive? I'm subscribed to the iCloud Drive. There are some documents and folders that I want to upload to the iCloud Drive while there are some (especially the big ones) that I don't and I simply want to store them locally on my laptop. However, I could not move those folders that I only want to store locally out of the desktop or the documents folder. So my question is - how do I prevent certain folders from being uploaded to the iCloud Drive while not completely turning off the iCloud Drive function for other folders?

iCloud drive - not possible to upload folders ?? Good afternoon, I went to my iCloud drive to upload folders and there was a message that said that uploading folders from my computer (new McBook Air) is not possible. Is that a joke?? I have many folders and sub-folders. Or is there a trick to make it happen on iCloud Drive? Please help. Thank you!
