I received a suspicious email about my Apple ID being permanently locked if Not updated within 24 hours. Not sure if this was actually from Apple. Please advise what I need to do.

It is a phishing attempt. Do not respond. Do not divulge any personal or financial information. You can use the address below to forward the suspect email message, as an attachment to Apple.
If you provided your Apple ID and password at the bogus site, change your password immediately.
It is fake. Apple will never tell you that your Apple ID is permanently locked. If you try to use the incorrect password for your Apple ID too many times, then you will receive a message saying your Apple ID has been locked for security reasons, but never permanently locked.
