Received an e-mail saying my Apple ID is locked and will be deleted in one week

Received an e-mail saying my Apple ID is locked and will be deleted in one week if I don’t give them my Apple account log in information. E-mail says it’s from Apple. Is this legit or fake

If you received an email or phone call or text message claiming to be from Apple Computer with charges or claims you do not recognize or with requests to provide or change personal information DO NOT click on any links or respond to it.

Avoid phishing emails, fake ‘virus‘ alerts, phony support calls, and other scams
