iPad prints one page onto two separate sheets, each containing one-half of the page

The settings on your printer might need resetting. There should be document or letter 8x11. Somehow yours is doing columns.

Or change the commands coming from the iPad. Have just one page, single sided etc. Tapping on these brings up more options. You don’t want columns. Mine doesn’t have that option but perhaps yours does? If you see in my screenshot there’s a preview of the page set up. Did yours show the two pages?

Does your printer have its own app? (By that I mean if you are using a canon printer, is there a compatible canon app?)

There are also third party apps you might be able to use.

Air Print’s controls are basic at best and third party options are often much more robust

Would you be able to post a screenshot of this using any file that doesn’t show personal information? I have an HP PhotoSmart 7520 that I have been using for years and I have never seen anything like what you are describing.

This is what I see if when I try to print his page.

Tap this icon and you will see this dialog box. Tap on the Photo Library option. Select the screen shot. Then tap Done.
