Will iPhone 5W Adapter work with Qi-certified chargers?

That would be a question best addressed by the Qi manufacturer

Their answer was - it will not work.
My experience is, it does work, but I have no idea long term.
Therefore, I was hoping someone in Apple run tests, using wireless chargers, and the native Apple 5W adapter (in order to certify a 3rd party appliance) and reported if there are any long term consequences, either with battery or iPhone circuitry. There are plenty anecdotal reviews out there, but for $1000 purchase, I was looking for something more official. Thanks
Thanks, but the adapter was not part of the package, hence my q, if there is any harm in using what I already have, ie 5W adapter from Apple iPhone. Thanks
