Can I use AirPods Pro with iphone6 on IOS 12.4.8?

according to the specs for the AirPods Pro, you'd need iOS 13.2. I don't have an older device to test with, I'm guessing that you'd still be able to use them as bluetooth earbuds, but you wouldn't be able to access some of features.
