Magic Keyboard Spacebar Bug

I have found that the spacebar behaves weirdly using the Apple Magic Keyboard with my iPad Pro 13” on certain apps (Keynote and others).

the spacebar acts more like a tab key. Example. You want to type a sentence, and pressing the spacebar doesn’t give you a space. And when you go back and try to edit, placing your I cursor and typing the spacebar again, it goes to another “tab” and pressing it again takes you out of the presentation. It’s like a tab/esc keystroke.

to get a space, you need to press OPTION spacebar to make it work. This makes it next to impossible to work!

Should not he happening with Apple’s own apps!!

anyone here knows why this is happening?

Go to the accessibility settings and full keyboard access and make sure space bar has not been set to do things you are seeing.
