Side car with 2020 MacBook Pro & iPad Air 2

Hi everyone, I have an I iPad Air 2 which is currently running ipadIOS 13.6.1 and a new 2020 MacBook Pro. I wanted to use my iPad as a second display, however I couldn't find the sidecar app on the App Store on my iPad. On my Mac, when I clicked airplay, I couldn't find my iPad as well. Could you please assist me to sort this out.

Regards,

Yoga

Your older 2014 iPad Air 2 will not work with macOS Sidecar feature.

Your iPad model is to old and does not work with any Apple Pencils.

thank you, ah I was looking forward to using my iPad as a display. I found a solution however. If you download this app called duet on both Mac and iPad. you can use your iPad screen as a second display. The only downside is if you would like to use this wirelessly you will have to pay a yearly fee. You have to pay for the app on the iPad, and use a cable to connect it if your not willing to pay for the yearly fee.
