Apple TV+ Keeps Signing Out While Watching Content
I have an Apple TV 4K and have the free Apple TV+ subscription. I’ve recently updated to tvOS 13.4.8 and now Apple TV+ keeps signing out when I’m watching content.
I was in the middle of Ted Lasso the other day and the screen went black, then said “signing out”, went back to the home screen where all I had was the 7 day free trial option.
This isn’t the first time this has happened. Has happened 3 other times but I wasn’t watching Apple TV+ at the time. Only noticed it when I went to view my movie purchase and my library was empty.
Strangely enough when I went to the account settings, my iCloud account details are still signed in. The only way to fix was to sign out of my iCloud account and sign back in again, starting the whole set up process again. I’ve done this 4 times now.
Does anyone know what’s causing this as it’s making watching Apple TV+ infuriating. if this keeps up I’ll be cancelling the subscription when the free year ends. Such a shame as there are some terrific shows on Apple TV+.
