Screen too bright?
The white part of my screen is too bright and I can't read the text. How can I fix it?

You can calibrate the screen with this makeshift steps:
"System Preferences" --> "Displays" ---> Choose "color" (always CHECK "show profiles for this display only") --> by holding "option or alt key" while click on "Calibrate..."
This will give you "expert mode" and you can proceed many adjustments to suit your need.
You probably should adjust on the "left side" slide bar to see how it would work for you.
If you do not like it, you can always revert to the original.

Hi, welcome to the Apple Users Community.
Go to System Preferences>Displays>Brightness has a slider for adjustment and you can also adjust the color temperature in the sub panels.
Best of luck
Hello,
Thank you for your suggestion. Unfortunately, when I reduce the background brightness, the text is also dimmer, and therefore harder to read.
