apple music draining battery on macos catalina 10.15.6

The vents of my MacBookPro go crazy when I run apple music.

On the activity monitor, Energy tab, the Energy Impact goes through the roof topping up at 156 #units. I guess it is a lot since all the other apps are below 10..

This is to the point the charger can't keep up and the battery goes down while it is plugged!!??!

Is there some settings or preferences I can tweak to stop this from happening?

Or is it better just to switch to Spotify?

MacBook Pro 17″, OS X 10.11

All right, after fiddling a bit with the app under Activity monitor scrutiny, it looks like it is the MiniPlayer that is buggy.

Keep it closed and the app stays under the 10 whatever-units-the-energy-impact-is-in. This is low enough to keep the computer cool and the fans silent.
