Mouse cursor lag
I have a MacBook Pro 16 inch. I have it connected to a hdmi display with an adapter. When the mouse is on the second display it lags and skips like 10 frames at a time sometimes. Is there a fix?
MacBook Pro 16″, macOS 10.15

Hey there Apple_Collector44,
We see that you are having some difficulties with lagging on your second external display that is connected to your MacBook Pro. We would love to assist you with resolving this issue.
First, let's try disconnecting the adapter from the Mac and restarting it: Log out, sleep, restart, or shut down your Mac
Try starting the Mac up in safe mode to see it continues: How to use safe mode on your Mac
Also, try testing this issue in a test user account: Set up users, guests, and groups on Mac
If the issue persists once you reconnect the external display to the Mac, then try disconnecting the adapter again and resetting the SMC: How to reset the SMC of your Mac
Next, we want to make sure that your Mac has a current backup before we proceed with the next step: Back up your Mac
Lastly, if necessary you would need to reinstall the macOS on your Mac: How to reinstall macOS from macOS Recovery
Hope these resources help!
Take care.

Is this a third party adapter or an Apple branded adapter...(?)
