Contact Not Syncing with iCloud

My iMac contacts are not syncing with iCloud so my iMessages do not have names, only numbers listed. Mi iPhone and iPad does not ahve same issue. How can I resolve?

I have contacts in my iPhone (iPhone 12 Pro running the latest iOS) that are not syncing to my Cloud as far as I can see on www.icloud.com. That being said, they're somehow making it to my iPad via the very same Cloud. The problem here is that they're NOT making it to my MacBook Pro, and so half of my iMessages appear to be with random numbers. The default account is set to iCloud for contacts, I've signed in and out of iCloud on both the phone and the computer, I've restarted both devices, I've toggled all settings, I don't know what to do beyond making an appointment at a Genius Bar. Thank you for making it this far! And appreciate even being pointed in the right direction to an already existing answer.

Contact List Won’t Sync Completely I have Contacts turned on in iCloud on my iPhone, iPad, and MacBook. All are up to date and running the latest OS and iOS. However, despite syncing with a cable as well, about half my contacts on my phone are missing on my iPad and computer. When I look at iMessages on these, there’s no name for contacts I’ve had for years. How do I fix this without having to manually add hundreds of contacts to these devices?

Iphone will not sync contacts to ICloud I have tried all the recommended steps from Apple, turning contacts on in icloud on my macbook air and my iphone. I have tried recommendations from users in the community, signing out of icloud on my iphone and signing back in, toggling contact syncing on and off to force a sync etc. nothing is working. this is bothering me because I cant see the names on my contacts in the messages app on my macbook air. This shouldnt be a thing. Can anyone help?
