editing window dispappeared
I was using iMovie and I used copy to library and the movies disappeared from the window and the editing bar on the bottom of the window disappeared as well. Now all I see are three vertical panel.

That is what you are supposed to see. When you are in an open iMovie project and then click on the projects tab in the upper left of your screen, the project will close and the projects browser screen will display that shows all of your projects as icons. If you click on the media tab at the top of the projects browser screen you will get the display that you described. To get back to a project with a timeline click on the projects tab at the top of the screen and either open an old project or create a new one.
