TV app is dysfunctional and is abusive. It interferes with my use of finalcut pro. All video opens up in this creepy app. How do I get rid of this junk.

You can change file associations to your own preferred application.

Choose an app to open a file type on Mac - Apple Support

Dear god thank you. I wished finalcut wasn’t all black now it’s impossible to see the frame size. Thanks again. Problem solved.
