Disappearing Notifications

When I open my iPhone 11 Pro my notifications show up but, if I accidentally swipe to the next screen I lose my notifications where did they go? How do I recover them?

Swipe Down from the Top Left Corner of your iPhone's screen and you will reveal the notification center where you will all your notifications.
