Cannot Access Apple ID’s Purchase History

I cannot access my purchase history under my AppleID on my iPhone or iPad. Instead of displaying purchase history, it just gets stuck in a never ending loop asking me over and over to enter my AppleID. However, I know for certain that I am entering the correct one.

I get to the purchase history via my mobile device’s “Settings > my account name > iTunes & App Store > AppleID account user name > View Apple ID > Scroll up a bit > Purchase History.

It prompts me for my AppleID password. I enter it. It thinks about it for a few seconds, then prompts me for it again...again...again...
