Photos for Mac: can I delete a photo without confirmation window?

I find the repetition of the confirmation window "This photo will be deleted from iCloud Photos on all your devices" annoying and unnecessary. I know that I can use the keyboard ⌘ + Delete to delete without the confirmation. I would like a way to delete with my mouse without confirmation, or to remap the Delete key (or Forward Delete key) to mean deleting without confirmation. Unfortunately, I can't see ⌘ + Delete in any menu, so I don't know how to remap it using System Preferences.

Any advice?

The "Delete" command without the confirmation dialog is not shown in the menus. Pressing the command key is what is modifying the menus to include the quick "Delete" option. This is a security measure to prevent you from accidentally deleting more photos than you bargained for. Photos 5 on Catalina has the nasty tendency to keep more photos selected than we can see as selected. And it is very useful to be asked "Are you sure you want to delete.." and have to look up to where it says "1000 photos selected" when we thought we had only one photo selected.
