You have provided no information as to your model of iPad or the installed version of iOS/iPadOS - or given any indication as to what you have actually tried. As such, we must start with assumption that your iPad KeyChain is potentially not correctly configured.

KeyChain

Settings > [Your Name / AppleID] > iCloud > KeyChain > iCloud KeyChain - set to ON

Settings > Passwords & Accounts > Autofill Passwords > AutoFill Passwords - set to ON

Settings > Passwords & Accounts > Autofill Passwords > AutoFill Passwords > iCloud KeyChain - enable/tick

Have you tried a forced-restart of your iPad - as this will often resolve an isolated issue?

• On an iPad with a Home button: Press and hold the top button and the Home button at the same time. When the Apple logo appears, release both buttons.
• On an iPad with Face ID: Press and quickly release the volume up button, press and quickly release the volume down button, then press and hold the top button. When the Apple logo appears, release the button.
