Mission Control: Set fullscreen apps to remain in their original desktop?

When I go Fullscreen, a new Desktop is created in a different place relative to the Desktop from which it originated. In other words, if I have four desktops, for example, and I click Fullscreen on an application in desktop two, I'm now in a new desktop at the end of the list. So, when I swipe left expecting to see desktop one, I see desktop four.

Is there some setting to keep Fullscreen in the same Desktop?

It's annoying when you want to swipe back and forth between spaces and going fullscreen changes up the order

Full Screen causes a new Desktop to be created, so it ends up at the end of the list. There is no way to prevent that short of not using Full Screen.
