Over 1 million people worldwide have died from it, 20% or 1/5 of them in the US. Yet the US has only 4% of the world’s population (308 million US, 7.8 billion worldwide), which makes the US the most dangerous place in the world for infections. And infection rates are currently going UP in the US from a low a couple of months ago.

Having to stand online to spend $1,200 is a very minor inconvenience compared to the impact the coronavirus has had on the vast majority of people living in the US, such as the 8% unemployed compared to 3.6% one year ago, millions of families evicted or forclosed, most of whom can't even afford a flip phone, let alone a smartphone.

Think about how lucky you are only having to wait a couple of hours.
