How do you make a shopping appointment at Apple store

I wanted to do this too... called and ended up ordering by phone. Then I found out yes, I could pick up at store but NOT trade in my other one. So only for them to hand new one to me. Same experience online even though an employee person outside the store told me to go in and do “Shop with a Specialist”. Seems Apple is the only company not allowing us to buy at the store??? Why??? Now I will see if I can buy what I want from Best Buy.

in Illinois, as for shopping with a specialist, “not until we are past COVID”, I was told. Stores have remodeled and now you must buy online and have it shipped, or schedule an in person pickup. Maybe you can squeeze in a quick question when you pick up your merchandise at these reconfigured stores.

Well, I gather that in most stores a certain number of people can be in the store, but maybe Apple requires each person to be "with" an employee, not being allowed to just look around. Not sure why it would be any different, perhaps not trusting people to maintain distance. Hmm

No one here has a store in Hawaii. This is a user-to-user support forum and you're not addressing Apple here. The link to make an appointment has been given repeatedly in this thread, including in the post just above yours.

This is not a chat service. This is a user to user technical support forum and Apple does not participate here. You need to type out a question describing your problem and any troubleshooting steps you have taken to fix it, and wait for one of the volunteer users to read it and one to answer it.

To answer your question, yes, the prices are the same online as they are in the stores. If you order online you can have it shipped to your home, however if you live close to an Apple Store, you can see if the purchase can be picked up at the local Apple Store sooner than it can be received by shipping. You can choose the method at the time of checkout.

I bought a new iphone nad need a sim card and installed plus "Glass" front put on.....possible other accessory while in store

I have gone in online where it say s shop with a specialist and there is nothing available at any local stores...
