Apple cash errors, money sitting in apple cash

I tried to send money $22 to a friend, through Apple pay and it did not work for some reasons at that time. Now next day my wallets says $22.60 is in my apple cash. My friend did not get the money and I had to use paypal. Is this money sittiing in my Apple cash debited from my linked credit card? How can I send it back to my card??
