Smartlist has incorrect sort order on Apple TV

I have the TV app installed on Catalina for home sharing of videos. I've created a Smart Playlist based on name and genre. The Smart Playlist is sorted in Date Added order. However, on the Apple TV Computer app when I show the Smart Playlist it does not show up in Date Added order. they seem to be sorted in some random manner. When I used the old iTunes on Sierra for home sharing the list did sort correctly.

Is there some other setting I need to set?

I don't believe your sorting preference is transferred, but try right-clicking the playlist name in TV and using Copy to Play Order to see if that helps.
