Water on bottom of 2020 MacBook Air

So I was working on my 2020 Macbook air and i was showing my dad something. Well he put the laptop on his lap and his shorts were wet and when i picked up my laptop, it was kinda wet on the bottom. i quickly dried it off but i wasn’t thinking and i turned it on to see if it still worked and it came on. I don’t think water got in the ports and since i turned it on, i’m scared that it messed my laptop up even more. So i was wondering if it will be fine or if i need to get it looked at.

About liquid contact indicators (LCI) on Mac notebook and desktop computers. However, I know nothing about them. For water to get into the computer, the water must have been deep enough to rise to or above the seam between the base plate and the main case/chassis. If it was that deep then it could seep into the the interior. But to get into the ports, the depth would have to have been greater. If there were that much water, then your original description of the problem was not entirely factual.
