My new SE won't ring.

Some things to check (note that you should check these even if the phone will ring when you go into Settings to test it):

The ring/silent switch on the left side of the phone. See: How to put your iPhone on vibrate, ring, or silent mode - Apple Support

Settings > Phone > Silence Unknown Callers: Detect and block spam phone calls - Apple Support

Do Not Disturb: Use Do Not Disturb on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support

You can sync Contacts (and much other information) to iCloud via the options at Settings > [username] > iCloud. In addition to doing that you can do an iCloud Backup of other information (the information not synced) via the following instructions: How to back up your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support

Then if you purchased the phone directly from Apple and if you are within the 14 day return window, you can return it. See: https://www.apple.com/shop/help/returns_refund

When you get a working phone, you can set it up using the following instructions: Transfer data from your previous iOS device to your new iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

Note that in addition to using those instructions to restore the iCloud Backup data, when the sync options are turned on via the options at Settings > [username] > iCloud, the sync data will automatically sync to the replacement phone.

We have a Brand new iPhone SE your matter what we do it will not ring.so frustrating... how to send it back for exchange or repair without loosing info and contacts?
