Syncing files across devices through iCloud

I am not seeing the contents of the files on my MacBook Pro on any of my iOS devices.

Try going to iCloud.com using a computer browser to see if the items are there and whether they are from the device or the computer. That should show whether the device or the computer isn't syncing. If the computer, try going to System Preferences/iCloud (Apple ID if you are using Catalina) and stop syncing. Wait a couple of minutes, then recheck syncing. If the device, go to Settings/Your Name/iCloud and do the above. As a last resort, you can also try signing out of iCloud and then sign in again.

Double check Settings/Your Name/iCloud to make sure you are signed in with the same ID used when the initial iCloud sync was done.


Try Settings/Your Name/iCloud and slide off syncing. Wait a few minutes and then slide syncing on. Allow time for syncing to occur. The photos sync is very, very slow.


Last resort - have you tried signing out of iCloud, restarting the device, and then sign back in?
