How to power down the iPad?

No matter whether I hit any volume button, holding the “top” button only brings up Siri and not any power slider.

You can power-off the iPad in two ways...


1) Press and hold the physical Sleep/Wake button on the top-right edge of the iPad (as viewed with the iPad in Portrait orientation- with the USB-C connector at the bottom). After a few seconds, the power-off slider will appear on-screen.


2) From Settings:

Settings > General > Shut Down
