My iphone needs recovered and I pad needs updated. I forgot my password. How can I recover my iphone

My iPhone 7 needs recovered. I can’t get it to recover It appears I have 2 apple ids linked to my iPhone. I can’t remember the password to my iCloud I’d. I know the password to my gmail I’d though.
