Your iPhone 6+ may be new to you, but it has likely passed through several previous owners before landing in your hands. That is why you are bumping into this local hardware limitation.


Fear not, though. It is an easy problem to overcome. From any computer's browser, head over to https://appleid.apple.com/account#!&page=create and create your new Apple ID there. Once created, you can use that newly created Apple ID on your new iPhone 6+.

Your iPhone 6+ may be new to you, but it has likely passed through several previous owners before landing in your hands. That is why you are bumping into this local hardware limitation.


Fear not, though. It is an easy problem to overcome. From any computer's browser, head over to https://appleid.apple.com/account#!&page=create and create your new Apple ID there. Once created, you can use that newly created Apple ID on your new iPhone 6+.

Create a new ID (if necessary) and sign into iCloud using the same Apple ID on another Apple device/computer. You should then be able to sign in.


The maximum number of free accounts have been activated
