I pulled my phone out to turn it on and it seems to be completely dead. It was fully charged when I put it away. I have attempted a hard reset, but nothing. There’s no glimmer of any sign of life. Is there hope for this phone? Battery or something else?

Old device and it may need a new battery.
Thanks, however as I posted, I had already taken the suggested steps for my phone without success
Then recycle it.
