My macbook pro 2017 turned black screen and the keyboard and touch bar are normally lit. The last time I used the laptop was exactly before that with 10 days, I’ve put it inside its case and sleeve like I normally do, in an empty drawer. Then when I got it out And turned it on, the screen stayed black however I can hear sounds and keyboard is working. I went to tradeline and they told me that my laptop’s software has nothing wrong and the problem is with the hardware screen itself and they told me it’s not something external as the laptop doesn’t show any sign of being hit or fell or anything. This case is so weird and they don’t have any explanation for it, also I did connect it to an HDMI cable to the TV and the screen showed normally on it. So that proved their point that it’s a hardware thing. So what should I do ? And no explanation for this to happen, neither do I have any clue, as I literally put it alone in a drawer for 10 days then reopened it.
Sounds like the screen or projector cable has failed.
