Garageband & focusrite 4i4

I'm thinking of buying a Focusrite 4i4. Is anyone else using it with Garageband on their iPad?

Do all channels, including the midi, get recognised by Garageband?

Is it plug & play, or does it need external power?

iPad Pro, iPadOS 13

if you use it on iPad Pro you need a camera connection kit (Lightning to USB 3 Camera Adapter

it will draw power from the iPad Pro charger so you need to connect this camera kit and the scarlet and the iPad Pro. Most audio interface are plug and play in Apple device but in MacBook some audio interface has an additional driver that needs to download depends on the brand.
