Storage space question
If I keep adding files to Documents under iCloud Drive, does that take space of my computer hard drive also?

Yes. The iCloud Drive is a syncing service and not an off-computer storage facility. Any file on the iCloud Drive is mirrored on your boot drive so you can access it even if you don't have an internet connection. Delete a file on the iCloud Drive and it's deleted from it's corresponding space on your boot drive.

It shouldn't since they are in the cloud. Are those files completely gone from your computer or just copied to the cloud?
Thank you for your reply. I'm very new to iCloud and I haven't tried to save files to iCloud yet. I'll see if files are copied to iCloud only.
Thank you for the info! I have one question. So on the same token, if I delete a file from my computer storage, will the corresponding file in iCloud Drive be deleted as well?
