Live Wallpaper Zoomed In

Whenever attempting to use a Live Photo as my wallpaper, the preview or static lockscreen looks as shown and excellent quality. However, when I try to use the live photo, be long pressing, the live photo zooms in around 3x into a corner of the photo and loses quality. Have read up on this with an old posting, have tried to take a live photo which would rule out a single photo, however the problem persisted. Have attempted to look into settings but only setting that comes to mind is the Display Zoom setting.

If Perspective Zoom is on, the wallpaper moves as you tilt your screen. To turn it off, tap the Perspective Zoom button. The Perspective Zoom display option isn't available when Reduce Motion is on or when Low Power Mode is on. If your wallpaper is a Live Photo, you can turn on either the Live Photo effect or Perspective Zoom, but not both at the same time.
