I can’t use my iMac’s mouse on mac os utilities, what can I do? I need to select de hard drive to download mojave on, but I can’t use the keyboard to click on it
iMac 21.5″, macOS 10.15
I’ve tried this numerous times, and either one of these two things happen:
A new Mac can not run Mojave, it can only run Catalina or later macOS's.

Yep, boot while holding down the ⌘+R keys.
Please help, its an emergency, because my iMac is literally brand new, just bought it two days ago :(
So all Ihave to do is press command + R to download catalina again?

I am downgrading from Catalina to Mojave, but when I get to mac os utilities, my mouse won’t work on my imac, how can I solve this? Because I can only use a couple of things here and there with the keyboard, but not everything
