I have an ipad pro 9.7" that my grandchildren use to Facetime with us. It previously had the effects button but that has disappeared in FaceTime.
How do I get it back? They enjoy using the animoji effects when we are talking.

You say it supported this, but I don't think that model iPad Pro did support Facetime effects.
We have USED it several times! It was a point of contention because my grandson has the pro and his sister has an air. The pro did the effects until the last couple of weeks. I don’t understand why it changed!
