MacBook Pro 13in Touch Bar Issue

I am a new Mac user and the Touch Bar control for YouTube is no longer appearing for control of the video. What do I do to activate video playback controls on Touch Bar on YouTube?

Touch Bar not working with YouTube in Safari. Hello, I have a 2020 Intel MBP 13" running Monterery 12.0.1 and Safari v15.1. When I am on YouTube the seek bar portion of the slider disappears from the TouchBar. Anyone ideas on how to resolve it? I do not know when It started, I just happened to notice it yesterday. Youtube Opening Video In Small Window? This is the first time I've ever owned a Mac and the learning curve is killing me. One issue I've run into for the first time last night is that Youtube will open a video in a new window (but not a tab) depending on how I click the video on my trackpad. Once the window is open it will continue to play that video and once the video goes behind Safari I cannot find it. I don't know if this is some kind of shortcut but I can't figure it out. It seems to happen much more often when I click the trackpad with my left pointer finger than when I click with the right. Anyone know what this could be? First photo is normal Youtube window second photo is the issue I'm having. Any help is appreciated (the name of this feature or how it works would be awesome)! Thank you for your time!

Go to System Preferences > Keyboard and make sure Touch Bar Shows is set to App Controls.

Okay, it looks like it was already on App Controls. The Touch Bar just does web page control instead of video control.

Update: I found out that it works if I use the video full screen mode.
