Need to permantly delete a ton of photos and pictures from my 7th gen iPad yet keep all of them on my other two iPads

If you use iCloud Photo to sync photos across your devices, when you delete a photo on one device, it will delete on all devices.
If you don't care if photos from your other devices come over to the iPad, you can go to Settings > Your Name, iCloud, iTunes & App Store > iCloud and turn off iCloud Photos on the iPad ONLY. This will not impact your other devices which have photos on them. Then on the iPad you can delete what you want without deleting from anything else.
