Source/validity/granularity of AQI

With all the California fires, I’m watching the AQI much more closely. Is there any information available on where that data is sourced, how often updated, and how granular it is geographically?

AQI Weather App Always Incorrect I live in a traditionally good air quality location, yet the weather app is constantly showing incorrect AQI. Data is pulled from "BreezoMeter" and when I went to click, saw it was pulling air quality info from a location 70 miles from me. When I cha ged my location, the number fell by 80%. Sadly, the AQI feature in the app does not remember my actual location, so it's an essentially useless tool. Is it just me?

AIR QUALITY INDEX in the weather app Why can’t I always view the AQI in the weather app? It only allows me to view the map when my air quality is poor. Sometimes I just want to view the AQI around the country or where my family is located elsewhere, especially when it’s fluctuating day by day with the Canadian wildfires.

AQI in Europe in Apple Weather App Hello Apple, I hope you read this forum. I live in Poland and I cant’t see anything info about AQI in my country. I saw you updated AQI info in your weather app. All datas about AQI is connected with BreezoMeter ( yea, but in US, not EU ) but in Europe you Can connect with AIRLY. This is really good sources like BreezoMeter in Europe and they takes most EU contry. I hope you Can contact with Airly and update your weather app with AQI datas with Europe’s most countries.

It's sourced by The Weather Channel and based on your current location or the city you have selected. I do not know how often it is updated however.
