Remove Activation Lock:

However it’ll be difficult to remove Activation Lock without knowing the Apple ID linked to it, this article might help:

If all else fails, if you can provide Apple a copy of the receipt, or documentation proving you are the purchaser of the device, and they can validate it, they may be able to remove it on their end:
