Could fake airpods using in "Find my"? Is is possible or not?

I bought used airpods 2 gen. But i can't check this one real or fake.

There are two things you can check to determine if the used AirPods you purchased are real, or fake.


  1. If you go to Settings > General > About > AirPods on your iPhone, if you actually have that "AirPods" section then they are real.
  2. Also, if you to go Settings > Bluetooth and look at the pairing there if the picture next to the uncertain "AirPods" is a generic bluetooth speaker icon and not a picture that actually looks like the shape of AirPod, then it is fake.


If they are fake you cannot use the Find My AirPods feature.
